Mend Colorado Empowers Women with Tailored Fitness for Every Life Stage
In a remarkable step in the women’s wellness movement, Mend Colorado has launched a new exercise program for exclusively for women aged 35 to 70. The classes, taught by instructors with specialized training, are available in Boulder and Louisville, providing a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for women to pursue physical strength, vitality, and confidence—regardless of their baseline fitness or experience.
As many women face the unique challenges associated with perimenopause, the challenges of metabolic change, and concerns about the health of their bones, Mend Colorado’s new movement program is a welcome alternative. This initiative incorporates the knowledge of physical therapy practice with high intensity interval (HIIT) fitness and strength-based formats, empowering women to take back ownership of their health with evidence- informed instruction.
Classes are bottoms up and led by licensed physical therapists, the classes are designed to the needs of women with conditions like osteopenia, pelvic floor dysfunction, orthopedic pain, or hormonal changes. Unlike a generalized fitness model, Mend works to closely individualized client needs, pairing health goals with considerations of safety, inclusive exercise, and real-life results.
“We discovered there was a need for a space where women feel seen, supported, and strong, particularly through their hormonal transition and physical changes,” says Dr. Kristin Carpenter of Mend Colorado. “Our goal is to help women thrive through carefully designed strength and conditioning that respects their bodies and supports their long-term wellness.”
Mend Colorado is cultivating not only fitness, but a wellness community. A community in which women support one another, share personal experiences and grow stronger together. With flexible class times and a free trial class, program has made it simple for busy women to get started on their first step forward.
Whether it’s increasing bone density, managing health in midlife, or simply increasing energy levels, Mend Colorado is leading a new wave of women’s fitness where strength and science meet sisterhood.
