AI’s Captain Zoya Becomes The 1st Indian To Enter the SFO Aviation Museum
Captain Zoya Agarwal, a senior AirIndia Boeing-777 pilot and the first Indian woman to fly an aircraft over the North Pole, completing a record-breaking distance of about 16,000 kilometres, took her place in the SFO aviation museum. An all-female Flying India crew led by Zoya Agarwal flew the world’s longest air route from San Francisco (SFO) to Bengaluru, encompassing the North Pole, for the first time ever. This is not a simple accomplishment, and in recognition of it, Zoya has been inducted into the prominent US-based aviation museum. The SFO Museum recognised Zoya Agarwal’s illustrious career in aviation and her passion for empowering women worldwide. She has motivated millions of young women and girls to achieve their ambitions.
