Bachelorette parties can be complicated, but they really only have one purpose: a night or weekend away with your best friends and bridal party to celebrate your upcoming wedding, your friendships, and the special bond you all share. But after two years of COVID and travel restrictions, playing it safe by social distancing and so many canceled or postponed events, many of us may have forgotten the basics of bachelorette-ing, like where to go? So we’ve rounded up the 10 best bachelorette destinations within the U.S. to grab your girl gang, get up, and go!
Miami
If a warm-weather bachelorette party is what you’re after, Miami has to be one of the most popular destinations to bring your girl gang. Gorgeous beaches, incredible nightlife, world-class cuisine, and partying from sun-up to sun-down, a tropical-esque bachelorette in Miami is always a good idea. For a true Miami bachelorette experience, stay at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, a sprawling luxury hotel with its own nightclub, adults-only day pool club, and incredible beach views.
New Orleans
For less R&R and more on-the-go fun, head on down to New Orleans. In the heart of the French Quarter, you can spend your days on tours, eating delicious Cajun and Creole food, touring historical landmarks, and, of course, bar hopping. At night, head to Frenchmen Street for outstanding live jazz music and dancing that avoids the craziness of Bourbon Street (though you’ll also want to indulge in that as well!). While in NOLA, we recommend staying at an Airbnb—one with a pool or hot tub is preferable. It can get pretty hot and humid especially in the summer months, so having a place to cool off is clutch.
Palm Springs
Looking for laid-back, mid-century-modern vibes, warm temps, luxurious poolsides, and endless Instagram-worthy places to check out? Head on over to Palm Springs, California in the Sonoran Desert of SoCal. Indulge in shopping along Palm Canyon Drive, explore Coachella Valley, and take in the gorgeous views. While in Palm Springs, stay at the ACE Hotel in downtown Palm Springs (you’ve probably seen it on Instagram). It’s everything you could want in all its quintessential retro-desert hotel glory.
Las Vegas
Some may consider Las Vegas to be the bachelorette capital of the world, and we may have to agree. The Vegas strip is home to endless entertainment, from gambling and gaming to shows and experiences, pretty much any type of food you can imagine, and partying that pretty much never stops. If you’re in the mood for a true party, Vegas has it all. Stay at a hotel/casino combo on the strip so you never miss a beat or opt for an Airbnb a little bit more removed to serve as your “quiet” place if you need a break.
Reno
An excellent alternative to Las Vegas but still with those desert vibes and ample gaming, Reno, Nevada is home to award-winning spas, luxe pools, rocking nightlife, and abundant beautiful scenery. Located along the Nevada and California border and a little more than 20 miles from Lake Tahoe, Reno is a place where you can take a break from the pampering and partying and take in the stunning mountains and engage in seasonal sports! Be sure to head to downtown Reno to the Truckee Riverwalk District for a delicious dinner and views of the river running straight through town.
Atlantic City
It’s not Vegas, but Atlantic City is still an excellent option for a bachelorette filled with fun, gaming, gambling, clubs, and more. Plus, it has one thing Vegas doesn’t: beaches! In Atlantic City, New Jersey, you can get your fill of sun and sand plus gaming, gambling, world-class restaurants, and more. It truly has it all! There are so many great hotel options including large, luxe resorts and casinos. Or you can opt to stay just over the bridge in a beautiful rented beach house in Brigantine.
Orlando
Dig Disney? Us too. Where else can you reconnect with your inner child before you do arguably one of the most adult things in your whole life (getting married, that is)? For a bit more of a tame, wholesome bachelorette party with still lots of fun mixed in, Orlando, Florida is a great choice. Of course, you can go the Disney parks route (which, yes, can include eating and drinking around the world in Epcot!) or you can stay in the heart of Orlando, enjoy what downtown has to offer, and head to the Universal parks for some straight-from-the-movies rides and shows—and of course: Harry Potter. Our recommendation? Do it all.
Napa Valley
Wine lovers, unite! North of another great bachelorette destination, San Francisco, the Napa Valley wine region is the main wine-growing location in the United States. Napa Valley is home of vineyards that look like they’re straight out of a travel magazine (because they are!), where you can spend your days sipping wine while touring wineries and your evenings enjoying incredible outdoor dinners under twinkling lights with your best friends. Nashville
