The company’s flagship Process-Aware Autonomy platform combines three core technologies to help manufacturers transition from conventional automation to self-driving production systems.
The first component consists of patented Process-Aware Sensors that can be integrated into existing manufacturing infrastructure without extensive modifications. These inline sensors continuously monitor materials flowing through production systems and generate real-time digital fingerprints of manufacturing processes.
The second layer is Process-Aware AI, which uses factory-trained machine learning models to analyze sensor data and determine the current state of production. The third component, known as Process-Aware Insights, provides operators with explainable analytics by combining historical, real-time, and predictive process data. According to the company, Laminar’s technology has been deployed across hundreds of production lines on six continents. Its customer base includes seven of the world’s ten largest food and beverage companies, among them AB InBev, Coca-Cola, and Danone.
The company reports that its autonomous process control platform has helped customers achieve measurable operational improvements, including an average reduction of 20 percent in chemical consumption, 20 percent lower water usage per production cycle, and production lines operating approximately 15 percent faster than before implementation.
Laminar also highlighted a deployment at Unilever’s manufacturing facility in Poznań, Poland, where the company says its technology has generated annual savings exceeding €100,000 per production line across two production lines through improved operational efficiency and resource management.
The latest recognition adds to a growing list of industry accolades for Laminar and its AI platform. Earlier this year, the company was named a 2026 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer, recognizing startups developing innovative technologies with the potential to create significant global impact. It also received the 2026 FoodTech Innovation Award and won the Gold Award in the Manufacturing & Logistics category at the 2026 Edison Awards.
In previous years, Laminar was recognized by AB InBev with its Cheers Award for startup partnership and by Unilever as its Supplier Startup of the Year, reflecting the company’s growing presence within the global manufacturing sector.
