Torchlight Vitality Launches 12-Week Coaching Program to Help Women Manage Fibromyalgia Symptoms
Torchlight Vitality has introduced Fibromyalgia Freedom: Reclaim Your Life, a 12-week online coaching program designed to help women develop practical self-management skills for living with fibromyalgia.
Created by Linda Fraas, a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Fibromyalgia Health Management Specialist, the program provides guidance on nutrition, sleep, energy management, gentle exercise, stress reduction and mindset. It is intended to help participants build sustainable daily habits that support overall well-being while navigating the challenges of the chronic condition.
Fibromyalgia affects an estimated 2% to 4% of people worldwide, with women accounting for the majority of diagnosed cases. The condition is commonly associated with widespread pain, fatigue, sleep disturbances and cognitive difficulties, and it remains challenging to diagnose and manage. While treatment often includes medication and symptom-specific care, growing research suggests that structured self-management approaches, including health coaching, can complement medical treatment and help improve quality of life.
Fraas brings both professional and personal experience to the program. A former occupational therapist, she left her clinical career after developing fibromyalgia and has spent more than three decades exploring lifestyle strategies to better manage the condition.
Drawing on those experiences, the program combines educational resources with one-on-one coaching, goal setting and accountability to help participants adopt practical routines that fit into everyday life. The curriculum focuses on managing energy levels, improving sleep habits, incorporating appropriate movement, making informed nutrition choices and developing strategies for coping with stress.
Designed primarily for women aged 35 and older, the online program aims to provide participants with structured guidance as they work toward improving daily function, building confidence and developing long-term self-management skills.
